Christine St. Laurent

I'm Christine; an admirer of real people and real experiences. I prefer doing things rather than owning things. Honestly. My husband had to talk me into buying a home. I'm a native New Englander, who grew up in a tiny New Hampshire town. After earning my psychology degree from a small Vermont college, I got the itch to travel. I spent my 20's exploring and working, and found my home in Austin, TX in 2010. Most of my career experience is in mental health, but I found I can't live without the art of photography. Through education, commitment, and a bit of courage to overcome my fears, I'm fortunate to say that my 20 year old photography hobby has evolved into my full time job.

I specialize in weddings, public & private events, and portraiture photography. Whether it be families, couples, children, graduating seniors, or older adults, I love people and their celebrations. I am very drawn to real, genuine moments and aim to honestly capture the personalities of everyone I photograph.
