Art brings emotions and thoughts. What we see on the canvas can change how we see the world. For me, the first artist to change my world was Gregory Grovey, Sr. Growing up, I used to see my father's artwork all of the time. He was always working on new pieces, and each one brought just as much excitement as the one before it. 
    He painted portraits of our family, sports superstars, and images that depicted what it meant and felt like to be Black in America. Unfortunately, his work didn't gain the notoriety it deserved before his passing in 2010, but his work inspired the founding of GGS so artists all over the world are able to see the spotlight shine on their work. We are working to bring more of his work to the masses, so please stay tuned.
