Raw, aggresive, & potent! Influenced by the likes of J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, & others, his style embodies truth, struggle, & realness. He goes by the name of Mdot, but most of his peers call him Dot. Twenty-five years of age, this Staten Island native started his earlier years writing haikus in middle school and was later inspired to rap by the likes of Cassidy, Kanye West, & Lil Wayne. Mdot wrote his first rap at the age of 13 to Cassidy's "I'm a Hustla", and ever since then, he continued to write raps. It was after high school that Mdot started to take a career in Hip-Hop more seriously and joined up with other like-minded artists that would later call themselves "The Commission." Mdot has released a number of singles via Soundcloud & YouTube (previously as M.O.), featured on a few of 'The Commission EP's', rocked a number of stages (including NYC's Webster Hall), & has been apart of numerous Hip-Hop cyphers. He's recently dropped his debut project, Wh!pz N’ Chain$, August of 2018 and with a strong team backing him, Mdot hopes to continue to build his musical career and inspire those around him to chase their passions!
