Pikahsso is an incredible hip-hop artist, and a Dallas, TX legend. His approach to creating music is unlike anyone else, and when you listen to him, it is easy to hear how passionate he is about what he does. He is a historian, and he takes pride in having an incredible knowledge on delivery, song structure, and the artists (of all genres) who have not only influenced him, but paved the way for him to have the freedom to create music that is authentic to him.
During our recent conversation, Pikahsso touched on music, history, the parts of the brain responsible for creativity, and some of the wonderful artists he's had a chance to work with over the years. Pikahsso's interview was like a master's class in music, and we are certainly appreciative of the lesson.
