The Upside Down
B.o.B
What’s brilliant about B.o.B is his ability to always make you pay attention and question things using your own common sense. Just like that, “BOOM,”a captivating intro and a solid beat to compliment how no games will be played in this 9 track verbal spasm of creativity. B.o.B has always been the man in his own lane, the “Crème de la crème” (French phrase basically meaning best of the best) of his world. My gratitude for his art goes a good wayback and I respect a thinking man that shares his perspectives to the world through music. It’s one of the best ways to share knowledge (especially to the youth) because, I mean, who doesn’t love music? Add a side of substance and now we're cooking.
There's a war on our psyche and how we run from the deceptions. This is discussed on “is it war.” It’s hard to have a favorite on this album, but this particular song sits atop somewhere in the midst. Watching the fallacies suck the life out of people daily is the epitome of the phrase, “life without direction is bound to get ingested”. Friendly reminder: “all this evil’s not your fault..insidethe machine”. Into the “digiworld”we go, wherein lies a newfound term of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). No worries though, I’m guilty as well, so there's no need to feel bad. It causes anxiety in our day to day and there’s no need for that. Look up zombie 1 & 2,nature is beautiful and real!!
Snap back to reality. Ready? The “food fight”is an ongoing battle to this day. When we understand how much food plays on our overall well being. Literally that’s wherethe mind control starts. The importance, if you care, starts with what we are ingesting daily. We are electric beings and electric foods keep us charged up (insert Drake voice) not slumped over due to the itis.
Shift gears to the ladies, “FuggaMillionaire”we are worth a lot much more than just the portal of life. It’s easy not to take this song personal unless you living this type of chase the baller lifestyle. To each their own and I’m no gavel owner. The “Kundalini”energy is referred by a serpent coiled down at the base of the spine, she who is coiled. This song can be a spiritualreference to a woman dealing with the blockage in her rooted energy, (“I can feel your knowledge, you’re in bondage”). He spins it positivity letting the woman know who she is, with a beautiful relaxing beat to compliment the message. Good message for the women who are ready to receive. Onward.
“Bones don’t turn to oil” (catchy bridge indeed) as we enter the “BoBiverse” logic. A plethora of conversation starters for any dayof the week. He reminds people to “follow your own mind, and your own mythology..cuz if you’re mind ain’t your own it’s somebody else’s property”.
Closing out with, “woman”, a nice poetic stanza of reaching the peak of real love aka the highest vibration lwe speaking frequency.
